Before you place the order, please note this (very important):
*After you receive the package, within 48 hours, please make a video of unboxing the carton until the machine performs the test run for reason of cargo insurance's requirements. (with drop gate open and close like shown in the test run video.)
*If the package has obvious damage outside, please do NOT sign and do NOT accept the package. Please tell the delivery man to send back the package.
*By the way, don't throw anything away (like the carton) until you find proper function of the machine.
That metal bar put onto the machine is for protection during the journey.

Maybe you’re still using a Saki pot stirrer or a spoon to agitate the beans?
Or perhaps you’re always messed up with tons of chaff clogged into the stock cooling tray?
There is a better solution.
Features
You need a powerful fan impeller to cool your beans within a short period of time (usually less than 4 minutes) and to suck out the chaff. Also, you wouldn’t want to spend time removing chaff manually after every roasting session. Our cooler itself is a big chaff collector. Not only the drum of the cooler, but the tray can even hold 2.5 kgs of roasted beans.
Well, what is the advantage of having a bigger tray? The coffee bed is therefore thinner, which requires much less time of cooling.
The highlight of our cooling tray is the use of two filters which ensure the quality of air going through the cooling tray. One filter has larger meshes for bigger pieces of chaff, while the other for dust (smaller meshes). Not only can it be used commercially but domestically for home coffee roasters.
This automated cooling tray has two stirring blades that allow you to prepare for the next batch when the beans are being cooled down. The spoon can finally be left for your kitchen!
The blades even clear the tray automatically when the drop gate is opened. No need to scoop the coffee beans manually outside the cooling tray!
What If the Cooling Is Weak and Slow?
- The beans continue to develop. Unquestionably, every coffee roaster aims to a certain roast degree (inner color and outer color) before they drop the beans out of the roaster. The cooling process should be as short as possible so the desired roast degree is fixed (better finish within 04 minutes).
If coffee beans are kept to a high temperature after being dropped into the cooling tray, those meant to yield floral or fruity notes may overbake and lose the most exciting parts of a coffee bean. What’s worse, they would taste roasty or baked.
- A long cooling process extends total working hours. Normally one roaster can do 5-6 batches an hour using an efficient cooling tray. However, an “incorrect” cooling tray can only allow you to do 2 batches an hour in the worst condition. - A weak cooling tray isn’t capable of collecting chaff from the beans. To deal with chaff is an important issue for every coffee roaster. Too much chaff clogged to the cooler’s filter and among the beans makes the roasting process annoying and lengthy. Chaff disturbs the flavor also. When you brew coffee, be sure there is not much chaff going into the cup. |
In conclusion, a good cooling tray makes the work much easier and enhances flavors in coffee.

Good to Use, also Good to Look At
To compete with the finesse of coffee, we have tried our best not to miss a detail on the cooling tray. The whole cooler is a chef d’oeuvre of 45 years’ craftsmanship. My father is a senior engineer who has dedicated his whole career to mechanical engineering.
The cooling tray is a perfect fit for commercial roasters as well as home coffee amateurs for its appropriate size. The whole cooler including the parts (for example, the blades and the shaft) are made of 304 stainless steel. All has been electropolished to be clean and shiny.
There is no sharp edges or dangling cables. We put rubber on the edges to prevent cuts. The machine’s design is very intuitive: not an awkward and confusing switch, and you can even unload (drop to your container) the beans by using one single hand.
The cooling tray’s biography is all about craftsmanship and aesthetics.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Literally there is no maintenance required.
After roasting some batches, the filters need to be cleaned. The first filter (bigger mesh) can be washed, while the second filter (smaller mesh) can be vacuumed. Another cleaning to take care of: chaff needs to be wiped out from the chaff collector if 10 – 15 kgs are roasted.

Q & A
1. Warranty
This price does not include risk costs for worldwide warranty.
This means if any parts need to be delivered from Taiwan to your country or vice versa for repair or replacement, shipping fees between the two countries should be borne by the buyer.
However, for this kind of low-energy appliance, the most common problems are dislocation of metal parts only. We will try our best to wrap and pack up the parcel. If unfortunately, some parts are dislocated, you can fix it by yourself through our guide.
There has not been a case of warranty issue since the first machine was sold.
2. How long should the chaff be taken care of?
After 10kgs – 15kgs greens are roasted.
3. Where to buy the spare filters?
Please contact us for the purchase.
4. How to raise the Aillio Bullet R1 roaster so the cooler works with it?
There are multiple ways of raising up the roaster.

Don’t forget to cut bottom side of the tube properly so it stays flat to the table.

5. Does the cooling tray work automatically with Aillio the Bullet R1 roaster?
No. In order not to interfere with the electromechanical device of the roaster, we do not intend to connect the cooling tray to the roaster. The roaster’s warranty is thus kept intact.
6. Can I use the cooling tray without the filters?
Yes, as long as you can vent out directly (to the yard maybe, or to an end cotton bag). Beans are being cooled down even way faster than with filters installed.
Please see example here:
7. What is the shipping/payment method?
For most countries, we use EMS (Express Mail Service) from the post office for shipping.
All packages are trackable in the post system of your country.
The price at checkout includes the cooling tray, shipping cost, and cargo insurance.
If your country does not appear in the list of shipping, please contact us.
8. Things to note before you place the order:
*As the package has cargo insurance, please do not throw away the carton until you find proper function of the cooling tray.
*After you receive the package, within 48 hours, please make a video of unboxing the carton until the machine perform the test run for reason of cargo insurance's requirements.
*If the package has obvious damage outside, please do NOT sign and do NOT accept the package. Please tell the delivery man to send back the package.
